At Inspiring Gardens, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our website and our clients. In this Privacy Policy we provided detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.
Types of Data We Collect
We want you to know that Inspiring Gardens is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We will not pass on information to any other party - the only exception to this is if we notice any security issue at your address if we are working in the garden when you are not there and feel it appropriate to call the police, or other relevant authority.

This information is held in our email server Address Book in order to save your contact details to help with future correspondence.

If you contact us through the Message facility of our pages on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, we may ask for:

Client Information
Once you are a client of Inspiring Gardens, or a prospective client requiring a site visit, we will also record
• Your name
• Your address
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Details of the services we provide to you, if you are a client
• Photographs of your garden, if taken
This information which records who you are, where your garden is, and what work we are doing for you, along with any invoices for work carried out for you, are held in a client folder stored electronically in a password protected, encrypted cloud storage facility and backed up on a regular basis. Your name, address and phone number are also stored in Google Contacts which is held online, password protected, and synced to my phone.
Access To Your Personal Information
You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information that we hold. Please email catherine@inspiring-gardens.co.uk if you wish to do any of these options.
Deleting Client Information
Once you are no longer an active client of Inspiring Gardens, or if you have made an enquiry but not become a client, we will keep your personal information we requested for a period of 3 months following the final contact with you, and then we will delete the information we hold from our email server and cloud storage facility. Invoices will be archived to a separate section of the cloud storage in case of need by tax or other financial organisations.

This policy was written on 14th May 2018 and will be reviewed annually in May every year to ensure it represents best practice and meets the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Information Commissioner's Office.
