Helping You to Grow Your Own Vegetables

Research has shown that there is benefit to the planet and human health from consuming a more plant based diet. Buying locally sourced, seasonal fruit and vegetables reduces the carbon footprint of the food we eat. Growing that food ourselves can also save us money and it is also very satisfying to sow seeds or small plants, look after them and watch as they grow.  You need to have some patience, but you will be rewarded with delicious food and a sense of achievement.

It isn't necessary to have a large garden to grow vegetables - they can be grown very well in containers of all shapes and sizes - you may have some suitable containers already at home.
