Easy to Grow Flowers, Fruit and Vegetables

Catherine grows a selection of flowers, fruit and vegetables which are easy to look after.  These include cherry tomatoes which can be grown on a windowsill or hanging basket, strawberries or courgettes grown on the patio and healthy green vegetables such as spinach and kale which can be picked over a long period.  Annual flowers include cornflowers and calendula which are popular with pollinators.

Catherine also grows perennial plants such as salvias, fuchsias, penstemons and agapanthus from cuttings from her own garden.

Availability will depend on the season (and the spring weather).

Single plants will be provided in temporary use plastic free PosiPots, ready for you to plant at home.

Locally Grown for Collection or Delivery in Portishead

Catherine grows the flowers, fruit and vegetable plants in her greenhouse and garden for her own use as well as to supply locally.

Catherine is registered as a professional operator with the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) in order to sell plants face to face.

APHA Customer Registration Number is 136074.

The plants  can be collected from her home near the Lakegrounds or delivered within Portishead.

Catherine can accept cash or contactless card payments.

Sustainable Gardening - Kind to the Environment



Catherine is committed to sustainable gardening and growing. She always grows plants in peat free compost (unlike many plants from the garden centres) and never uses chemical pesticides or weed killers in her garden or greenhouse. She tries to reduce the amount of single use plastic by reusing as much as possible and recycling where possible,

Catherine is an enthusiastic composter, saving garden and household waste to put on her compost heaps and wormery.
